Los Angeles, May 11 (IANS): Actor Dave Annable and his wife Odette Yustman are expecting their first child and announced the happy news to friends and fans through social media.

The couple publicly shared the baby news via their micro-blogging website Twitter accounts on Sunday night, Mother's Day, reports aceshowbiz.com

"Happy Mother's Day! This year, I'm SO happy to announce that I get to join the party! #babyannable: @hellobluephoto," Yustman tweeted.

Along with the tweet, she also shared a photograph of her and Annable. She was seen in the image cradling her baby bump.

Shortly thereafter, the "You May Not Kiss The Bride" actor retweeted it and wrote on his Twitter account, "It's out! I can now wish my beautiful wife a very happy birthday AND a Happy 1st #MothersDay! Me and #babyannable are so lucky to have you."

No further details on the newborn were shared.

Annable, 35, best known for his role in "Brothers and Sisters", wed actress girlfriend Yustman in an outdoor ceremony in Ojai, California, on October 2010. The two got engaged on Valentine's Day that same year.
