Why there is discrimination among the Districts. Before making comments please know some facts.
Reason why there is DK is lying back with Udupi district.

    1) Number of Students appeared
    2) No of Government Schools.
    3) Below poverty line...like this many facts.

We cannot compare the twin districts with social media, moral policing .. bla bla..

Yes Girls are far better than boys in any Exams...not only in SSLC.

Daiji .. Please put the stats...it will we interesting as you put in CET exams

My friend have some common sense. Its nothing to do with stat. E.G even in Mangalore (DK) if only 10 students appear for exams and 8 gets passed its 80%.

In Udupi too there are several CBSE/Govt schools, its all matter how many students appeared and how many passed thats the %.

No doubt Udupi is the most literate, peaceful and richest district of Karnataka.

Girls may have achieved upper hand in exam results but can you name a girl / woman who has invented something great?. Men have invented greatest things in this world even though they failed in primary school. How many will agree?

as per you women are not invented anything. but be aware that God did not created women to invent something new. He created her to give birth to whole mankind including me and you.
please do not be jealous as girls got upper-hand in SSLC.

    I won't agree with it.
CCTV, Wireless, Fridge, COBOL Programme and what you drink 'Beer' is all invented by women's.

Actually earlier they have not given a chance. In corporate world all are holding higher stature equal to men's.

That's basically because men and women those days were not given equal opportunities for education and amenities even in the west. Even in the most advanced countries women have had to fight their way to liberation. Women were encouraged to study languages but not science and maths, which were male domains. Anyway, you forget Madame Curie. Also, women in literature field used to write with man's name, for eg George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans), though I do not know if any women scientists went by male names. Here's a site dedicated to women inventors - http://www.women-inventors.com/Women-Inventors.asp

    Parag,

You are wrong here - recall what PM Modi told boys on his 'Mann ki baath' - he said, 'your sisters despite helping their mother in housework while studying, score more than you'.

Mr. Modi is right. Boys are made careless by their own parents. There shouldn't be any resentment about girls scoring better.
