Abu Dhabi, May 12 (Agencies) : An Asian cook murdered his girlfriend who worked as a housemaid at a next door house in Abu Dhabi, after she lied to him that she was pregnant.
The cook had sneaked into the neighboring house at the invitation of the Asian maid just after her employers went out.
After they slept together, she told him that she was pregnant but he did not know she was lying to him, according to the Arabic language daily 'Al Khaleej'.
“He was furious at the news and went out of the house, where he found a brick.
"He returned and crushed the maid’s head with the brick,” the paper said.
It said a criminal court trying the killer adjourned hearings to June 1 to allow the maid’s embassy to contact her relatives in her home country to ask them whether they want the defendant executed for murder or would accept diya (blood money).
