Zuber Khan to play parallel lead with Sreesanth

Mumbai, May 13 (IANS): Model Zuber Khan, who has bagged four films, will make his acting debut with former Indian cricketer S.Sreesanth in "Woh Kaun Thi".

"It's a spontaneous comedy featuring three men and four women. It has no connection to Manoj Kumar's classic suspense thriller, and is completely different. I'm playing the parallel lead alongside Sreesanth," Zuber told IANS.

"We're all college mates having a lot of fun. My character is mastikhor (happy-go-lucky) as well as helpful and we're trying to find who is a con among the girls," he added.

The model will also be seen in films like "Picture Toh Banegi Boss", directed by Anurag Basu's associate Digamber Sharma, Pen Camera International's "Soul" and "The Dream Job", in which he'll be seen as a banker-turned-businessman.

Most of these films have comedy as a central factor.

"It's extremely difficult to make people laugh through comedy. But I take it as a challenge to prove myself as it's easier to establish yourself with a comedy. You can see with Rohit Shetty too... comedy is what took him to enormous heights and that's what even I'm striving to follow," said Zuber.

He is also inspired by Shah Rukh Khan.

"Shah Rukh Khan is an inspiration for every aspiring actor as he established himself on his own. In 'Woh Kaun Thi', I'll be copying Shah Rukh's style. Even if I can manage 10 percent of his style, I'll be pleased with myself," he said.
