Beltangady: Man drowns accidentally when taking bath

Beltangady, May 14: A person named Nambeesh (35) hailing from Hunsur in Mysuru district accidentally slipped and drowned in a pond at Ichila near Kavalakatte when taking bath on Wednesday May 13.

Nambeesh worked as an employee for an industrial unit located at Kavalakatte, which is engaged in making of electrical concealed boxes. On Wednesday, he had taken off and remained in his rented room. In the evening, he went to a pond located in the garden of his room owner nearby, and began to take bath. After he accidentally slipped and drowned, a boy from the owner's family rushed home and told others.

Although Nambeesh was brought out of the pond and rushed to the primary health centre in Punjalakatte, he was reported brought dead.

Nambeesh was unmarried. On the basis of a complaint made by Sadananda Shetty, owner of the industry where Nambeesh was employed, a case was registered in Punjalakatte poilce staiton.
