Man trapped in flood rescued in Jammu region


Jammu, May 15 (IANS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday rescued a man trapped in flash floods in Rajouri district of Jammu region.

Kalam Din, 40, a resident of Kanara village in Nowshera in Rajouri district, got trapped in the Jameer Nallah following flash floods, a senior police officer told IANS in Jammu on Friday.

"Putting their lives at risk, police personnel of Nowshera police station with the army's assistance managed to rescue the trapped person."
