Dubai, Mar 31: At the recent annual general meeting of Emirates Pangalites held in Shezan Restaurant, Karama, Joel Qudros was unanimously elected president of the organization.

Following are the new office-bearers and core committee members of Emirates Pangalites:

President: Joel Quadros
Vice presidents: Hilda Pinto and Jovin D'Souza

Secretary: Ashwinn D’Souza
Joint secretary: Merlyn Castelino

Treasurer: Dolphy D’Mello
Joint treasurer: Herald Menezes

Cultural secretary: Clevin D’Souza
Assistant cultural secretaries:  Colin Martis and Shaila D’Mello
Media Co-coordinator:  Mickey Castelino

Area co-coordinators:

Abu Dhabi: Alphonse Mendonca
Dubai: Ivan D’Mello  and Ignatius Alva

According to Joel Quadros, the challenge ahead is to unite all Pangalites in the UAE under the single banner of Emirates Pangalites, and also compile a complete database of all parishioners in the UAE and continue the good work Emirates Pangalites carried on during the last four years.
