Ryan Reynolds shares first image of daughter online

Los Angeles, May 15 (IANS): Five months since his daughter's birth, actor Ryan Reynolds has finally shared a photograph of his baby. But it's not a full look.

"Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one," Reynolds captioned the photograph he posted on micro-blogging website Twitter, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Reynolds' wife Blake Lively wrote: "...and with that, my husband @vancityreynolds joins Insta."

Lively gave birth to her first child in December 2014 two years after she tied the knot with the "Deadpool" actor.

The couple didn't confirm the name they gave to their baby until March.

"It's a family name," the first-time mother said on TV show "Good Morning America". "And I liked having a boy's name. I thought I'd pass it along."

Meanwhile, in a separate chat, Reynolds discussed his love for his daughter.

"I used to say to Blake, 'I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you'.

"And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby," he added.
