Udupi: Hangyo opens new state-of-the-art plant at Herur

Udupi, May 16: A new plant of Hangyo ice cream private limited, which is a famous company in the field of ice cream industry, was inaugurated by Shree Gokarna Parthagali matt, Shree Vidyadirajatheertha Swamiji and Kaivalya Matadeesha Shree Shivananda Saraswathi Swamiji in Herur villege here on Saturday, May 16.






















 Managing director of Hangyo ice cream private limited Pradeep G Pai said "There is more liking towards ice cream sticks and cones by the customers. To fulfill the demand we have set up this new plant which will manufacture sticks, novelties and cones. Hangyo ice cream has already come out as a famous brand. It has ISO 22000:2005 certified production plants in Yellapura and Bramhavara with a capacity of 1.5 million litres."

Hangyo ice cream private limited chairman Dinesh R Pai said "This new plant is built at a cost of Rs 12 crore. It is termed as the destination of ice creams with the imported machineries from Europe. It is the first extruder plant of its kind built in the whole state. This plant is built with the objective of 'Hanyo share a smile'."

Hangyo Ice Cream Pvt. Ltd is Karnataka’s first private ice cream manufacturer in the organized sector. Started on 14 Febraury 2003, Hangyo, is today a leading ice cream brand loved by consumers across all segments of society in its rapidly growing market. Hangyo has presence in Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Maharashtra, Andhra and Telangana with more than 7000 retailers and 100 distributors.
