Sunny Sunday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 17 (IANS): It was a sunny Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.

"Sunday will be clear and the maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 55 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 22 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
