Mumbai, May 17: Actress Sonam Kapoor who has been making heads turn at the prestigious Cannes film festival for the past 5 years, seems to have gone and upped the ante this time round with a range of looks that the actress described as "not herself".

Her apparel is decided upon by her sister and the actress revealed that, "there is a big team of assistants, make-up artists and hairstylists that help one to get ready but when you walk on that red carpet you just have to be confident and always be yourself. As soon as you wear something that you feel awkward in, you're going to look awkward wearing it."

The actress has walked the walk in an eye-catching electric blue gown by Ralph & Russo, a powder pink bodycon dress by Ulyana Sergeenko and a ruffle sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Needless to say she has dazzled everyone with her dresses and tresses.

Talking about her journey thus far at the annual international star-studded event, Sonam said, "It's my fifth year at Cannes. I've been with L'oreal for seven years now, and I super excited to be a part of this family and I hope for 10 years at Cannes eventually. This has been an amazing and incredible journey. The make-up's getting better, the shoes are getting higher, the gowns are getting more extravagant and the photographers are way more. Everything is just bigger, better and more glamorous."
