Udupi, May 18: Silver jubilee of priesthood of Fr Denis D'Sa, PRO of diocese of Udupi and parish priest of St Anthony Church with parish day of St Anthony Church Kuntalnagar was celebrated on Sunday May 17.

Fr  Denis D’sa presided over the thanks giving Eucharistic Mass. Dr Leo Cornelio, Arch Bishop of Bhopal Arch Diocese, Msg Baptist menezes, Vicar General, Diocese of Udupi, Fr Edwin Dsouza, priest from deanary also took part in the thanking giving mass.

After the g mass felicitation function and parish day celebrations were held. On the occasion Fr Denis Dsa, Mary Dsa, Dr Leo Cornelio, Dr Baptist Menezes, Fr Valerian Mendonca, Fr Fred Mascarenhas, Valerian Mathias, Fr Victor Machado were present on the dais.

Fr Denis along with his mother cut the cake.

Fr Valerian Mendonca raised the toast and wished Fr Denis D'Sa.

On behalf of the parishioners Dr Leo Cornelio along with Fr Edwin and gurkars of the wards felicitated Fr Denis. Nelson Dsouza read out the felicitation letter.

On the occasion Dr Leo Cornelio felicitated Fr Leslie Dsouza, Fr Alexander Lewis, Fr Reginald Pinto, Fr Eric Crasta, Fr J B Saldnaha, Fr Peter Mascarenhas on there silver jubilee of priesthood.

Dr Baptist Menezes released the the parish magazine'Padvacho Parzal'.

Fr Fred Mascarenhas distributed the prizes to the winners on the occasion of parish day conducted by the ICYM.

Prayer dance was performed by the students of Sandesha, Valerain Mathias Welcome the guest, Theodore Mendonca gave vote of thanks, Roshan Sequeira compered the programme.

After the cultural programme the parishioners greeted Fr Denis D'Sa. Fellowship meal was arranged after the greetings.
