Mangalore, Sullia, Apr 4: Bollywood's one-time dream girl, accomplished classical danseuse and MP Hema Malini on Tuesday visited the Kukke Shri Subrahmanya Temple at Subrahmanya in Sullia taluk, accompanied by her two daughters Esha and Ahana Deol and brother R K Chakravarti.

They were welcomed by temple administrative committee member T V Bhat, executive officer Ningaiah, labour department officials Jinkaraj and Jnanesh and others.

She with family members offered special prayers like Parivara Shesha Seve, Kartik Puja, Ashlesha Bali, Nagapratishtha and others.

Because of the bad rural roads on the Uppinangady-Kadaba route, they arrived in Subrahmanya via Puttur and Sullia. With the experience of the travel on bumpy and dilapidated roads, she appeared to be worried about the return journey.

Speaking to mediapersons, Hema expressed confidence that her party BJP would win majority in the forthcoming assembly elections and form the government. She further said that she had toured UP and had realized that the people were looking for a change. Although a government with BJP allies had taken over in Bihar, it would take long time to rectify the damage done by the past governments, she said.
