Mumbai, May 20: Actress Kangana Ranaut who has been a part of quite a few facets of marriage, seems to be a firm advocate of people marrying by choice and not being forced into to tie the knot by friends or family.

The actress was seen taking rejection at the altar in Queen and marrying the love of her life in Tanu Weds Manu. She will be back on the big screen with co-star Madhavan as they battle out the strain of their marriage in her soon to be released film Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

The actress shared her opinions with the media saying, “It (marriage) is an individual choice... whether he or she wants to get married or not. I believe it should be a choice and not a compulsion. I think we should not pressurise girls or boys for their future, marriage or anything...what do you want to become in life...do you want to get married to how do you want to live.”

She further said, “I think these things should not be forced upon due to society as future of both the parties is spoiled. So one should get married when one feels like and not due to social pressure.”

Tanu Weds Manu Returns has already piqued the curiosity of many with its trailers showing Kangana in a double role and more so one of them being completely different from anything she done before. The movie is slated for release on Friday the 22nd of May, 2015.
