Mangaluru: Twins from St Aloysius College score equal marks in PUC

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (RJP)

Mangaluru, May 20: Twins normally look alike, walk alike and also dress alike, at least some of them especially in childhood. In studies, however, they may not score alike. But in a rare case, a pair of twins from St Aloysius College has scored equal number of marks in their PUC exams.

Twins M Ananya Prabhu and M Amulya Prabhu have both scored 569 marks in the PUC exams, the results of which were announced on Monday, May 18.

Prabhu twins, students of St Aloysius commerce section, hail from Kasargod and presently reside at Car Street here. They are the daughters of Dr M Gopinath Prabhu and Geetha M Prabhu.

Ananya scored 86 in English, 90 in Hindi, 100 in business studies, 98 in statistics, while Amulya scored 90 in English, 91 in Hindi, 98 in business studies, and 95 in statistics.

They have both scored 95 and 100 in economics and accountancy respectively.

It may be recalled that in the SSLC results announced recently, twins Muskaan and Mehak of Kundapur scored 125 in Kannada.

Wow... congratulations to twin sisters. It is very rare both scoring equal marks in board exams. I am also one of the identical twins. My sister and I used to score very close marks but did not score equal any time. It is a great bond between twins. As Mr. Yogesh wanted to know, yest it is true that twins fall ill same time, likes and dislikes are similar, etc... When we were small, our Mother used to dress us up alike.. It is great feeling to be twins...

This indeed is a rare feat. The twins of St. Aloysius College may not be identical twins but they have scored identical marks. This is great credit to them, the college also to the parents.

As a past student of SAC it is my pleasure to congratulate Anamya and Amulya.

You are absolutely right. Parents, should prepare for this right now as they have already 17 plus. Many times, twins are not prepared to separate each other but good preparation and positive mindset, will change them for reality when they are planning to get married.
