Kasargod, May 21: Fear of further sea erosion has given sleepless nights to the people of Chembarika near here.

A wall built to stop the sea erosion has been badly damaged in Chembarika due to rains. Continuous rains are worsening the situation. Few coconut trees have already fallen to ground.

Going by the present situation, more coconut trees are expected to fall down. The houses on the shore are in danger.

In short, people are going through anxious moments. They want the rains to stop till everything becomes normal.
