Beltangady, May 21: Girija (22), daughter of Cheenkra from Mapalaje in Nidle village in the taluk ended life by hanging herself at her home on Wednesday May 20 morning.

Girija's family members said in a police complaint filed at Uppinangady that she was frustrated with life, although no specific reasons were assigned.

Uppinangady in-charge police sub-inspector, Sanjeeva Rai, and police personnel from Nelyady outpost visited the spot and took up investigation.
