Sunny Friday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 22 (IANS): It was a sunny Friday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will remain clear on Friday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 34 percent.

Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 42.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 27 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.
