Mangaluru:Forest dwellers' Kalyan Ashram to open on Monday

Mangaluru, May 24: The newly built hostel, Forest dwellers' Kalyan Ashram will be inaugurated on Monday May 25 at 9.45 am Sullia Adkar.

This is the first hostel being started for the forest dwellers in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district.

Hostel has a floor area of 3700 square feet which can hold upto 50 students. The hostel has been built in the memory of Narampadi, Kasargod Lalitha and Ganapathi Bhat by their children through LGM Trust at Rs 35 lacs.

Kalyan Ashram has been serving those people who stay in forests. The newly built hostel will be useful to give modern education to their kids.
