May 25 (Emirates 24|7): A Saudi bride died in a road accident while on the way to her wedding with her family in the Gulf kingdom, a newspaper reported on Monday.
The father was driving with his six children to the Western town of Makkah from nearby Taif for his daughter’s wedding when he hit another car.
‘Okaz’ daily said the bride died while her father, her two brothers and two sisters were injured in the accident.
“The groom was waiting for his bride in Makkah…he said that her last words to him were never use the mobile phone while driving a car,” the paper said.
