Karkala, May 25: The flag pole, park and playground of Little Flower English Medium High School, Ranganpalke in Kaudur village here were allegedly mowed down exactly a month ago, allegedly by the land donors.

In this connection, the parents of the students on Monday May 25 submitted a memorandum addressed to Udupi SP through Karkala circle inspector demanding strict action against those who damaged the school property.

In the memorandum, the parents came out in strong support of the school, stating, "From past 13 years, Little Flower school has been imparting disciplined, quality education to students from LKG to SSLC, along with developing their overall personality with creative activities. The school has been securing cent percent results for the last four years. We are sending our children to this school with utmost trust that they would obtain quality education and guidance.

"When the school was closed for vacation, on April 25, the land donors Lawrence Saldanha, his cousin Melwyn and their supporters barged into the school premises and with the help of a JCB, they razed down the children's park, the flag pole, water tank and a toilet. We condemn this unlawful act. Despite filing complaint, the local police have sadly not taken any action," the memorandum states.

"Hence we urge you to take strong action against those who violated the law in the interest of the students studying in the school," the parents urged the SP in the memorandum.
