Karkala: Thieves decamp with jewellery worth Rs 4 lac

Karkala, May 27: Thieves decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 4 lac from a house at Karimarakatte in Nallur grama on the night of Monday May 25.

Thieves broke open the back door of the house belonging to Sujatha K Shetty and decamped with jewellery and Rs 18,000 in cash. The thieves managed to take away all this from a room where four people were sleeping.

A police case has been registered in the rural police station.
