Modi expresses satisfaction over PRAGATI

New Delhi, May 28 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed satisfaction that multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI) was speeding up decision-making processes in vital projects and important areas of governance.

Interacting with officials of PRAGATI, he said the spirit of problem-solving and swift implementation, which was being generated through the PRAGATI interactions, was gradually spreading to all areas of governance.

Modi also reviewed the implementation of key issues pertaining to ex-servicemen.

He expressed concern over the "atmosphere of indifference" with regard to issues pertaining to ex-servicemen, such as delay in pension and retirement benefits, and directed the authorities concerned to pay more attention to their resolution at the earliest.

He directed officials of the Central Government Health Service (CGHS) to resolve pending issues and grievances of people.

Modi also reviewed the implementation of the prime minister's special scholarship scheme for students of Jammu and Kashmir.
