Kundapur: 9-year-old girl dies after accidentally falling into pond

Kundapur, May 29: In a tragic incident, a specially-abled child died after she accidentally fell into pond near her house at Koteshwar here on Thursday May 28.

The deceased has been identified as Apoorva (9), daughter of Keshva an Malini Acharya, residents of Kamalamma Nilaya, Koteshwar.

It is learnt that Apoorva was playing near the pond located behind the house, and accidentally slipped and fell into the water and drowned.

Apart from parents, Apoorva leaves behind a sister and a brother.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
