Five missing people from a family still remain untraced

Kasargod, Jun 1: The mystery of five people, from the same family in Badiyadka near Kasargod, missing mysteriously for the past fifteen days still remains unsolved. The police who went to Karnataka in search of them have come back without any information.

Badiyadka police had gone to Dharmasthala thinking that the missing family could be found there as per the inputs they had received. But they did not find any trace of the missing family there.

The missing episode has sent shockwaves in the family of the missing people. Udayan (30) from Kuntalu Mule, his wife Prema (20), her sister Ramya (15) and Prema’s children Sreejit (4) and Sangeetha (2) went missing from Prem’s house in Kumdaje Balekkala on May 14.

Prema’s mother Chandravathi lodged a police complaint at Badiyadka and the police had registered the case.

Prema’s family has alleged that the investigation is not moving properly. Chandravathi has said that the police registered the case only after four days from the day of her complaint.

Prema’s family has also said that there is a role of Udayan’s family in the missing matter. They have said Udayan’s family did not complain to the police about the missing incident.

In short, the incident of five people missing from the same family has given space for many suspicions and theories.
