Bengaluru, Jun 1: The result of the Common Entrance Test (CET), which decides the future of students desirous of pursuing courses like medical, dental, engineering, architecture, agricultural and veterinary sciences, will be out on Monday, June 1 afternoon.

A press conference is being convened at the office of Karnataka Examination Authority at 12.30 pm on Monday, june 1, where CET rank list will be released. After that, result will be published through authorized websites, http://kea.kar.nic.in, http://cet.kar.nic.in, and http://karresults.nic.in. Students can access these sites and get to know their results, Karnataka Examination Authority has said.

CET examinations were held on May 12 and 13 this year. Although KEA was desirous of publishing the result of May 26, it was postponed because of pressure brought by students and their parents, in view of large scale errors in second PU results published earlier.

Another yearly "jumla". googly to some students.
PUC marks should be given 75% weightage than this objective type CET marks should be given 25% weightage becoz it is "andaajige gundu" ticking for some students.
