Dubai, Jun 1: Creativity involves an ability to come up with new and different viewpoints on a subject. Creative ideas comeonly to people who are curious or enquiring or who are engaged in a hard search for opportunities, possibilities and answers. Creativity is critical for the success of any organization. The opposite of creativity is stagnation in which new ideas and more efficient ways of working are not encouraged. This is one of the factors that can turn a previously successful organisation into one that falls behind and is over taken by a more forward thinking competitor.
Creativity can help in several ways such as how to make more effective use of a manager’s time,how to improve a product’s appeal to customers, how to improve motivation amongst staff, how to appeal to customers’ wants and needs, how to cut costs through more efficient/effective production methods and how to identify new and profitable product-market opportunities.
In this regard, Kanara Entrepreneurs will host a talk on 'Importance of Creativity in Business' June 13 (Saturday) at 7 pm at The India Club, Utsav Hall, Dubai.
During this event, the speakers will deal with issues on the essentials of creativity, how to develop it within an organization, the creative process and techniques to be adopted to unleash the creative potential.

Gavin D'Souza is a senior industry leader with 15 years of international experience across India, North America and Middle East having led teams within the banking, hospitality and travel industries. Sales management, new business initiatives and people development are his core areas of functional expertise. He has impactfully delivered learning development projects to more than 750 leaders across 60 nationalities and is actively involved in the development of National talent with large corporates in the country.
Tisy Thomas is an MBA with 13 years of comprehensive experience in designing, improvising and delivering behavioral programs across the spectrum.An NLP practitioner, she has led teams in customer service, insurance and training. She is resourcefully creative and adept at conducting courses like communication using EI, Six Thinking Hats, Seven Habits of Highly Successful People, Creative Stress Management,etc.She specializes in using the metaphor of adventure while conducting high energy team synergizing/ bonding sessions. She is known to amalgamate corporate requirements with human behaviours sparking within them a passion to achieve and her workshops deliver an interesting mix of passion,humour,facts and hard hitting principles.
