Kuwaiti divorces wife at school

Jun 2, (Emirates 247): A Kuwaiti man divorced his wife at school while she waited to pick up her daughter after she finished the examination, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The furious man came to school in Kuwait City and asked his wife to come with him and leave her daughter so her father will pick her up later.

“She refused… the man started to shout but he was told by the headmistress to get out…he went out and asked the headmistress to tell his wife that he divorced her and that she is a witness to the divorce,” ‘Al Watan’ daily said.

    Is Islam marriage is a contract and not a sacrament. So as simple as it gets just as you make a contract, you break a contract - there is nothing sensational here.

    In all contracts there are provisions to wriggle yourself out of the contract and say "fare well" to one another and then make another contract with another person.

    For people who believe in this system, it is business as usual
