M'luru: Customs officers seize 464.8 grams of gold at airport

Mangaluru, Jun 2: The customs officers at the Mangalore International Airport seized 464.800 grams (net weight) of gold in the form of silver colour paint coated suitcase handle buckle holders and round button shaped objects, here on Monday, June 1.

It was brought by concealment in the stroller suitcase carried as accompanied baggage by the passenger Ubaid Bare Hassainar, resident of Mangad, Kasargod, who arrived at Mangalore International Airport on June, 1 afternoon by Jet Airways flight No. 9W501 from Abu Dhabi.

Further investigation is under progress.
