Kundapur: Recently married woman ends life

Kundapur, Jun 5: A young married woman chose to commit suicide at Janata Colony of Nailadimakki in Idur-Kunjady village in the taluk on Thursday June 4.

The deceased has been identified as Dharmavati alias Anita (24), daughter of the late Kushalappa Gowda Bellare in Sullia taluk, and wife of Sridhar Acharya residing in Nailadimakki in Idur-Kunjady village.

Dharmavati was working for a textiles factory in Bengaluru about four years back when she came in contact with Sridhar Acharya. After the two started to like each other, love blossomed between them, culminating in marriage. Thereafter she came with her husband and started to live with him in his native place in the taluk.

Sridhar works as photographer at Panambur beach in Mangaluru. The couple has two children. Anita's body was found hanging from a noose tied to a tree in the thickets near here house on Thursday morning. There is no information as to why she chose to end her life in this fashion.

A report about this unnatural death was filed in Kollur police station.

    very sad.was it really suecide or someone helped?hard to believe that she cmmits suecide leaving back two small children.May her Soul rest inn peace and heartfelt sympathyto the Family,cant belive it.children will be suffering in future.
