Willow Smith joins Cher as face of Marc Jacobs

London, Jun 6 (IANS): Singer Willow Smith, daughter of actor Will Smith, has joined singer Cher as the face of Marc Jacobs' autumn-winter 2015 campaign.

The 14-year-old singer was unveiled as the latest star of the label on Marc's Instagram account, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The image shows Willow standing on a stool, dressed in a full skirt and structured jacket similar to that donned by Cher, 69, in the first shot from the campaign that the designer released on the web platform.

In the caption, he called the teen a "talented, stylish and charming" model and praised a host of stars, including Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and Miley Cyrus, who have collaborated with the brand since he presided over his first campaign in 1998.

The designer added that he selected both Cher and Willow for the campaign as they "evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration" and represent "individuality".

"Photographed by David Sims, this season's ads feature friends, each of whom evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality.

"Here today I would like to share (not CHER) with you first, the talented, stylish and charming Willow Smith.Stay tuned over the coming weeks for more..." he said.
