Los Angeles, June 6 (IANS): Police were reportedly called when singer Chris Brown followed his former partner Karrueche Tran home after the two ran into each other at a club.

The "Loyal" hitmaker was seen trying to leave the club with the 27-year-old model, despite appearing to be dissuaded to by friends after the pair bumped into each other at the venue, reports tmz.com.

Later, the police is said to have been called after Brown was heard "banging and yelling" on Tran's door.

The incident is unlikely to do anything to help the "cordial and positive" friendship Tran wanted with the 26-year-old singer.

Asked how she would feel if she ran into Brown, she said previously: "I'll definitely keep it cordial and positive, no drama. I'm not about the drama.

"It's hard... I make it so we don't have to cross paths so it's not awkward but I do get on Instagram and there's people tagging us or I'll hear a song, you know, but I kind of just block it out."

The pair had been dating on and off since 2011, but Tran was left devastated when she found out that Brown had cheated on her with Nia Amey.
