Udupi: Nandini milk tempo rams into two-wheeler - Rider dead

Udupi, Jun 7: A man died after his two-wheeler was hit by a Nandini milk tempo at Udyavar here on NH 66 here on Sunday June 7.

The deceased has been identified as Daniel Jayakar Kunder (62), a resident of Mission Compound, Udupi.

It is learnt that the Kunder was riding towards Udupi when, near Halima Sabju hall at Udyavar, a Nandini milk tempo rammed into his moped from behind. The tempo was plying from Katapady to Udupi .

A seriously injured Kunder was rushed to a private hospital in Udupi, where he breathed his last.

Kaup police have registered a case.

    First of all deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
    The accidents which are taking place on daily basis are shocking, especially two wheeler incidents. Just imagine how many two wheeler accidents have taken place recently and deaths. It is time to think how this can be stopped? Is there any way out?
