'Ashobaa' cyclone expected to hit coasts of Karn, Goa, Maha

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi (SP)

New Delhi, Jun 9: The low pressure zone created in Arabian Sea has developed into a huge cyclone, known as Ashobaa tropical cyclone. As a result, heavy rain is expected to batter the coasts of Karnataka, Goa, and Maharashtra during the next 24 to 36 hours.

The meteorological department said that gigantic low pressure area had been created in the middle eastern section of Arabian Sea, which has since turned into cyclone. This cyclone is expected to gain in momentum during the next few hours. At present, the cyclone is moving on north and northwest directions. Still, because of cyclone, the above coastal areas of these three states will get heavy rain, the department said.

Sri Lanka, which got the opportunity to christen the cyclone this time around, has given the name, 'Ashobaa' to this cyclone.

Although this cyclone is not expected to have any direct impact on India, because of its indirect influence, wind with a velocity of up to 90 km per hour might sweep the coastal regions of the country during the next 24 hours. The wind speed may reach 100 to 120 km per hour during the subsequent 24 hours, it has warned. The meteorological experts have expressed apprehension about the likely prospects of these climatic changes having direct bearing on the progress of monsoon winds.

Bhandumaam, this time you are sure to score a century (just ignore the disagrees - these are equal to dropped catches, bad throws/overthrows etc.). At the end of the innings, you will still be the 'not out batsman'. Today is your lucky day when 'agrees' outnumber the 'disagrees'!

Be always positive, keep on batting/bowling (disagrees will always be there, just as you keep on experiencing from the 'better half')

Sure Mate!!!! Thank you for being there.
It's a just a 'fun-outing' mate trying to spread cheer and making
    everyone smile when possible.
Life's about taking everything sportively that comes your way
ain't it? You cannot remain 'not out' and it's the cheer you spread when you are'out there' that counts in the end...Isn't it?

    Bhandarkar,
Boss the other day you had said that you to do not have nagging wife you see......... …lucky you.
I fail to understand why most of the cyclones, hurricanes are called by female names?????
Women empowerment! Any ways, please exercise caution & care.

    Flavian....
i write many things...!!!! then and there...spur....you see!
    Nagging wife I wrote ...aa?
Depends on how you define 'Nagging'...O.K.?
Nagging differs from place to place, person to person, couple to couple..O.K.?
What is 'nagging' o me...may be 'loving' for you...and so on...Hope I am clear...
it's because these 'perceptions' differ-you don't have cyclones all the time in many a house hold! they are averted in the 'nick of time'...
Cyclones are named after women because of the 'aftermath' effects I believe.... Scenes on roads and streets after a cyclone are similar to the ones 'inside a house' after a woman erupts...Is it not?

    Directions to tackle Ashobaa...
    1. Do not venture out to beaches.
    2. No Fishing.
    3. Keep ample stock at home.
    4. Watch Ashobaa on TV and sip.
    5. Keep fresh stocks of Chatteambade, Bondaa, B.Roti etc, etc.
    6. keep strict watch on 'sips'..fries..etc.
    7. If your wife's name is Shoba and
is the cause of frequent 'cyclones'
at home...then you'll feel that this'Ashobaa' is nothing in comparison...
    8. Switch off 'everything' before going to sleep!
    9. Wake up fresh-next morning.
Has anyone given you such advise??
    No- No?
    Then thank me...
