Jun 9, (Emirates 247) : A man rammed his car into his mother and threatened to kill her after she fell out with his wife, prompting Dubai’s human rights authorities to intervene.

The mother was heard crying when she called the police to report her son, saying that she was frightened after he threatened to kill her.

“He hit his mother with the car on the road and threatened to kill her after a dispute between her and his wife,” said Fatima Al Kindi, head of the Social Support section at the Human Rights Division in Dubai Police.

She told ‘Al Bayan’ Arabic language daily that the mother could not stop crying because of such treatment from her son.

“We summoned the son who sounded regretful for what he had done.

“Fe said his mother fell out with his wife because she is of a different nationality,” she said.

“We reconciled them and made it clear to him that this is not the right way to resolve differences.

“He promised to end the problem and treat his mother well.”
