‘Rewind’ an experimental play staged at Kalaangan

Mangaluru, Jun 9: The 162nd Mhoinyalli Manchi (monthly theatre) – ‘Rewind’, an experimental play by Kalakul Theatre Repertory was very successfully presented to a packed audience, on June 7 at Kalaangann, Mangaluru. The play depicted the flashback of the lives of 6 Kalakul artistes. Skillfully directed by Christopher D’Souza Neenasam, the play was a joy to watch for the skill and efficiency of the actors. The last of the play of the present Kalakul term, it was indeed a climax of the year’s work.



























The selection for the next term will be held on Sunday, June 14, at 10 a.m., at Kalaangann. The Graduation Ceremony of the present term of Kalakul will be held on June 30 and the new batch will also be initiated that day.

Kalakul has so far produced 17 plays and 7 short plays and street plays and has presented 150 performances, including 2 in Dubai and 2 in Qatar.
