Dubai: EIFF organizes family get together GoFest

Dubai, Jun 10: The Karnataka chapter of Emirates India Fraternity Forum (EIFF) organized a grand family get together followed by a variegated cultural programme under the caption GoFest UAE-2015 at Bilwa Indian School auditorium, Al Qusais, Dubai on May 29.
















The promise made by the EIFF event organizers gave the crowd a wonderful opportunity to bring together the spirit of joy and created a festive environment. The theme of the event ‘Where Family Unite’ was fulfilled with joy and excitement. Men, women and children discovered an amazing native atmosphere of fun.

The celebration commenced as scheduled with the national anthem of India and UAE. In the inaugural address Janab Mohammed Naveed, the executive member of EIFF encouraged the NRIs who lived a mechanical life within the four walls to cherish and to enjoy along with their families. EIFF, Karnataka executive member Abdul Rasheed, Ashraf Hasan and Mubeen Karkala with leading entrepreneur Mohammed Sherief KHUSHI Group shared the dais.

The entire evening was filled with fun and various exciting games for children and adults like Singing Star (junior's Islamic song), draw a Ka’ba (for juniors), junior's quiz competition (for children). IQ test competition were arranged for men and women separately.
The star attraction of the event was master of dessert competition for women, which displayed scrumptious and lip-smacking taste with their skills in preparing different types of desserts.

DUFF program was staged by coastal Karnataka team. The most spectacular act was by the children, who enacted a skit symbolizing ‘respect to parents’. An eye catching rendition of the drama health awareness was performed by the EIFF team.

In the closing ceremony, Indian cultural society UAE president Janab Aliyar Sahab and Mohammed Sherief Shiekh a leading business man were the chief guests. Attractive prizes were presented to all the winners.

Raffle draw lucky winners among the audience won amazing prizes like diamond ring from Malabar Gold and Diamond.

Janab Nasir KK was instrumental in hosting the entire event by presenting a variety of programs which kept the audience intact.

The programme ended with the mouth-watering Indian cuisine comprising of tasty and delicious food catered by the famous Indian restaurants of UAE. The food was an added attraction for the crowd who enjoyed the yummy and delicious native taste.
