Udupi, Jun 12: A married woman, living with her husband in a rented house at Santhoor near Padubidri in the district ended her life by hanging herself on the night of Wednesday June 10. Vanitha (24), used her sari to hang herself in a room of her house.
Reasons for the suicide are unknown. It is gathered that Vanitha's husband and daughter were present in the house when she went into the room and committed suicide.
Vanitha was Santhoor. She had married Ganesh, a driver from Puttur, about seven years back. The couple has a five-year-old daughter. Ganesh's elder sister also lives in another house in the same compound, it is gathered.
The policemen, during their investigation, found out that Ganesh and Vanitha shared a good relationship and there was nothing which could be suspected to have driven the lady to end her life.
