London, Jun 12: The countdown had really begun with Konkani Kutam London (KKL) being ready to host the historic Konkani musical show Wilfy Nite in London on July 4.
All the preparations related to the event have been completed. More than 300 passes have been sold within a couple of weeks time which has highlighted the interest of the Konkani families in United Kingdom to attend this event. KKL team has said that there is a heavy demands for the passes and show will be houseful.
This is the first time that the Konkani families of United Kingdom have invited the late Konkan Kogull Wilfy Rebimbus team from Mangaluru. Due to enormous excitement, Konkani lovers are eagerly waiting for the day.
The delegates of late Wilfy Rebimbus team are visiting the UK are, Meena Rebimbus, Veena Rebimbus Pais, Vishwas Rebimbus, Ivan Sequeira and Babita Pinto who will win the hearts of the Konkani lovers with their melodious voices.
Musicians Pappan and Joswin Pinto will be a part of the team along with other musicians from UK who have decided to give the thrill of rhythm for the melodious songs of late Wilfy Rebimbus. This is the first time in the history of UK that such a big team of Konkani artistes is travelling from Mangaluru to perform on stage.
KKL has confirmed that ace master of ceremony Leslie Rego will lead the show with his magical dialogues. Other performers from the UK will also take part in this event for singing, dances and hilarious jokes.
