Bengaluru: Capuchins celebrate province feast day

Bengaluru, June 15: Saccidananda, the Capuchin Provincialate, celebrated its Patron’s day on Sunday, June 14 as the Province dedicated to the Most Holy Trinity.


























The Holy Eucharist began at 6.00 pm and Fr Faustine Lobo, The National Director for Pontifical Mission Society, was the main celebrant of the Eucharist and Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais, Provincial Minister of Capuchins of Holy Trinity Province, his councilors along with many priests from different congregation concelebrated the Holy Eucharist.

The celebrant Fr Faustine Lobo, in his inspiriting homily, stressed the importance of the belief in Holy Trinity in the life of a true Christian. The superior of Saccidananda community, Fr Joachim D’souza, thanked Fr Faustine Lobo, for presiding and he also thanked all the benefactors, friends and well wishers of the Capuchins, who were present for this ceremony.

Fr Joseph Dolphy Pais, Provincial Minister of Capuchins of the Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, on this occasion, felicitated Fr Faustine Lobo who completed his 25 years of priestly life in the vineyard of the Lord.

The melodious choir was anchored by Fr Salvadore Fernandes OFM Cap, Dean of Studies of Darshan Institute of Theology (DITH) with the help of Theology brothers.

As a token of gratitude and fellowship, a fraternal dinner was served to all the guests who witnessed this occasion.
