By Fr Noel Lewis Udupi, Jun 15: St Antony's patron feast was celebrated with great pomp on Saturday June 13 at St Antony's Orthodox Syrian Church, Kolalgiri.
A tri altar mass was celebrated with Fr G M Skariah Ramban being the main celebrant. Fr P A Johnson and Fr Abraham Kuriakose offered mass on the side altars. Fr David Crasta (parish priest) delivered the homily. Fr C A Isaac (vicar general) and Fr Noel Lewis graced the occassion. The main sponsors of this year's feast were Gretta Rodrigues and Sonia Rodrigues, Uppinakote.
All the devotees were served lunch. On this occassion, the blessing of the renovated cross tower and inauguration of the youth room were also carried out.
