Udupi, Jun 15: The titular feast of St Antony, known as ‘miracle saint’ was celebrated with great devotion and fervour by the parishioners of St Antony, Kuntalnagar and devotees from the neighbouring parishes on Saturday June 13.
Fr Clement Mascarenhas, parish priest of Moodubelle preside over the holy eucharistic mass while Fr Fred Mascarenhas, dean of Udupi deanery, Fr Denis D'sa parish priest, Fr Edwin D'souza and other priests from the deanery partook in the eucharistic celebrations.
The homily was preached by Fr Prakash Anil Castelino, lecturer St Marys College, Shirva. Before the mass Fr Denis D'sa distributed candles to the donors. Prior to the feast 9 days of novena were held from June 4 onwards.
