Congress party Varamballi holds felicitation for winning candidates

Udupi, Jun 15: Congress party Varamballi panchayat held a felicitation for winning candidates in the 25th varamballi grama pamchayat election on Sunday, June 14 at Mother palace hotel here.

Rajyasabha member Oscar speaking on the occassionn said "Udupi district is already free from child labour. State government has the mission of making India as a hunger free country and wants to provide compulsory education."














Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj said, "Public have given clear majority with 18 seats in Varamballi panchayat. People always support hard workingr and honest leaders."

Former MP Jayaprakash Hegde said, "Media plays crucial role in makeing the people to understand administration and grant system."

All 18 elected candidates were felicitated on this occasion. They were Gulabi, Bharati, Sanjeev Kotian, Kurshid Bhanu, Chrispin D’silva, Devaki Poojarty, Devananda, Nithyananda B R, Hema Shettigar, Raju Salian, Sadananda Poojary, Gopal, Janaki, Naveenchandra Nayak, Kavita and Janet Mery D’souza.

Rajesh Shetty Birthi delivered the key note address and welcomed the gathering. Mallika Balakrishna Poojary proposed vote of thanks. Harish Shetty Cherkady compeered the programme.

Former panchayat president Narayan Salian, Bhujanga Shetty, Former zilla panchayat president, Ravi Prakash Shetty, Chantar Panchayat President, Sharada, Godwin Menezes and others were present.
