Kalaburagi: Father, two children, die in accident

Kalaburagi, Jun 18: After a tipper hit a scooter at Jewargi in the district on Wednesday June 17, the person who was riding the scooter and his two school-going children lost lives on the spot. The accident occurred near the Agricultural Science Centre near Jewargi town.

Amrut Kalyanappa Sajjan Shetty (45) from Kattisangavi village was taking his children, Basavaraj (12), and Rakshitha (9), to school, when bad luck hit the family in the form of a tipper. Amrut was riding the children to their school in Jewargi.

As soon as information spread, villagers from Kattisangavi rushed to Jewargi and staged protest against the rash and negligent driving by tippers which keep causing accidents often. This created traffic bottleneck for sometime. Policemen had to intervene to pacify the protesters.

    I can not just digest our system. How come we are leaving such disasters to occur. reading everyday news like lorries, busses, tippers kill people like anything... where is law and order in the country. Why such culprits are not punished immediately. Shame on us and our system. What a loss for the family. Will the ministers and these lorry owners own the responsibility of these victimized families ? Really... a tragic disaster.

    It is not bad luck

    It is a tipped driven by satan that killed the family.

    The satan who was driving the tipper knows that he is well protected by the tipper owner and the law.
