Mangaluru, Jun 19: The participants at a programme organized at Hindi Prachar Samiti hall in the city on Thursday June 18 witnessed a rare event - release of book on the achievements of MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, and union government led by BJP, in the hands of Congress MLA, J R Lobo.

At the venue of this programme, where a photo exhibition titled 'Saal Ek Shuruaat Anek' was also held, prominent BJP leaders were present. MLA, J R Lobo, released a book on the achievements of the central government and the MP, during the last one year, after he was handed this book and requested to release it.

The programme of photo exhibition had been organized by union ministry of information and broadcasting. Union minister for chemicals and fertilizers, Anant Kumar, MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP district president, Pratap Simha Nayak, former MLA, Yogish Bhat, and BJP leader, Rukmaya Poojary, were present. During the programme, a book on BJP government's and MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel's achievements was given to Lobo among others, with a request to release it. Lobo obliged along with other dignitaries.

Lobo gave ample evidence of his rich political acumen, pro-development approach and maturity, when he commented later that he had taken part in the programme of the central government, being the local MLA.

"I was not aware in advance about the release of this work. I released it along with others, as I was under the impression that it was brought out by information and broadcasting department of the central government. I do not believe in making a big issue out of such things. When releasing works of writers, we do not look into how the individuals are politically aligned. I have no regret about this incident. Anyway, he is our member of parliament and I do not mix party politics in the matters of development. It would have been a mistake if the release was done at his party office," he clarified.

With his generous approach and honest feelings, Lobo has proved that he is a mature politician who does not believe in harping on petty politics and making mountain out of a molehill. The political scenario in the state and country can vastly improve if everyone takes cue from this incident and vow to stay non-aligned where the issue of development is concerned.

To some hard core congress supporters, so many catholics have supported & voted for BJP in Assembly & lok sabha election in Goa, Goa has more than 35% christian population and high number of christian voters, most of them have voted for BJP, that is why they have catholic MLA's and ministers in Goa Govt. And 2 MP's from Goa and one of them is from Christian dominated South Goa constituency.
BJP is slowly getting minority support, perfect example is they joining hands with PDP in Jammu & Kashmir to form the govt. Which no one would dream of couple of years ago.
Stop this nonsense, if a christian supports Honorable PM Mr. Modi he is a faku with fake christian name. Support a govt which does a better job. Mr. Modi is doing a better job than corrupt UPA, CM Siddu is doing slightly better job than corrupt BJP in Karnataka.
    Let common sense prevail.
    Cheers.

According to the 2001 census, Christians (Catholics) are about a quarter of Goan population (at 27%), and not 35%.

The Goan Catholics supported BJP because BJP in Goa will go head over heals to appease the Catholics. The BJP Government is Goa is dependent on the Catholic support.

But in majority of India, the Christian voter segment is miniscule when compared to Hindus. This is why the BJP plays the pro-Hindutva card.

So, please do not apply the Goan experience to the rest of India.

Shri J R Lobo has really shown the best gentleman ship and positive gesture by participating in this book release programme. Nalin Kumar is our elected representative to the parliament and Lobo is the MLA for state assembly. It is very important in development point of view that both of them work hand in hand. It is very important that both of them establish regular communication meetings. J R Lobo by his rich experience knows how to get funds for development. And Nalin Kumar being experience ed MP can surely get the funds released through central government. This is a beautiful new beginning. We have seen Ramanat Rai and Nalin kumar having fun time together during Bunts community get together. When it comes to cast and community people forget politics. And why should they not do the same for development?

Nalin and RSS's Santhosh is in full PR mode.

credible sources in BJP and the Sangh Parivar have revealed that the National Joint General Secretary (organization) BJP, B L Santosh is making all out efforts to ensure that Nalin is named President of the state BJP, while workers want Yeddy to be made the president.

Sanghis are in a paid propaganda mode and are using PR stunts thru a popular Kannada news publication to portray Nalin as the No.1 M.P of the state as part of a ‘image-building strategy by Santoshji’.

Sadly, senseless lobo doesn't realize that he is being used in this plot by BJpigs.

It is reliably learnt that intense lobbying to elevate Dakshina Kannada (DK) M P Nalin Kumar Kateel to the helm of the state BJP, is underway in full swing by some sections of the Sangh Parivar and the BJP.

Multiple credible sources in the BJP have been tasked with portraying Nalin as the No.1 MP of the state as part of an ‘image-building strategy'.

I wonder how great is the MP who has time to attend parliament in Delhi and control the 17 temples.
    He really deserve the book.
The SK people are fortunate to have a young smiling MP who cannot speak English or Hindi but achieved the Book.
It is not important the what are the contents of the book but important that book appear nice look and released by a hard working MLA.
It is fortunate that,we the people of SK though many are good qualified but relieved by a high school out as a MP from educational hub of south India.
