Three killed in Kashmir road accident


Jammu, June 19 (IANS): Three people were killed and one injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday.

The accident occurred near Kashmir Valley's Daksum area bordering Kishtwar district.

Police said a private car coming from Kishtwar town of the Jammu region to the Kashmir Valley went out of the driver's control and plunged into a gorge several meters from the highway near Daksum health resort.

Three people have died in this accident while a woman was critically injured.

People in the area have blamed bad road conditions for the accident.
