Clarks collaborates with London's V&A

New Delhi, June 19 (IANS): Global British shoe brand Clarks has tied up with LondonÂ’s Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).

The London Museum houses a vast collection of treasures from across the globe and also hosts agenda-setting exhibitions.

Clarks, which is celebrating its 190th anniversary this year, is the headline-sponsor of the V&AÂ’s summer 2015 fashion exhibition, 'Shoes: Pleasure and Pain', which launched on June 13 and runs till January 31, 2016, read a statement.

The partnership with Clarks will also extend to a license collaboration: the first of three seasons will launch with a collection of shoes for men, women and children.

Inspired by the MuseumÂ’s textiles and fashion archives and ClarksÂ’ own archives, the collection is infused with beautiful British heritage and craftsmanship.
