Minogue's personal message to an injured fan

London, June 21 (IANS): Singer Kylie Minogue has sent a personal message to an ambulance volunteer who missed her concert after she was hurt in a crash at an event.

Bryony Charles, 23, should have been on duty at the singer’s show at Newmarket race course on Friday.

But she is in a hospital awaiting an ankle surgery after being hit by a car during a stock race at Ipswich, Suffolk.

Her friends contacted Minogue’s connections to tell of her devastation at missing the show.

The pop star sent a signed photograph and a personalised video message on disc to the hospital, reports mirror.co.uk.

Charles, who burst into tears when she got the gifts, said: “I thank Kylie and her team so much for taking the time out to do this."

“It’s more than I could ever have imagined.”

Her mother Debbie said: “The video message said something like, ‘I will do extra high kicks for you’."

“For me it was extremely emotional and I think I cried more than she did.”
