Mumbai, June 22: Papanasam has a scene where in the entire reel-family of Kamal Haasan, is seen riding a bike, where none of them are wearing a helmet. Many of his fans voiced their disapproval of such an act for the impact it has on the younger minds, and the actor, immediately and humbly apologised for his act.

Speaking about it, the Uttam Villain actor said, "We shot the bike scenes long back, but that's not much of an excuse. We should've definitely thought of using a helmet. But I think it's common sense to wear a helmet when you step on a bike, just like you wear slippers while getting out."

The movie Papanasam, has Kamal Haasan as a married man with two daughters. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the drama thriller is a remake of Jeethu's Malyalam movie 'Drishyam'.The movie also stars, Gautami, Nivedita Thomas, Kalabhavan Mani and Esther Anil. The Malyalam version had Mohan Lal in it playing the role that is being essayed by Kamal Haasan
