Father, son found dead in Jammu village


Jammu, June 23 (IANS): A man and his son were found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday at a village in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district, police said.

Seventy-year-old Sarju and his 22-year-old son Binya were found dead in a pool of blood, covered with a blanket at their home in Sadota village on Tuesday morning, Udhampur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Suleiman Salathia told reporters.

"We have rushed a team led by an Additional SP to investigate the suspicious deaths," he said.

"A case has been registered. Further disclosures would be shared with the media as these unfolds during the course of investigation," the police officer said.
